Documentation of statistics The table does not include data on compulsory education organised by folk high schools as liberal adult education (folk high school year for those of compulsory education age). In 2024, data on one educational institution in the following location municipalities of educational institutions were not available:
Sports institutes (62): Lahti (398).
Folk high schools (63): Keminmaa (241), Liminka (425), Paltamo (578), Salo (734), Valkeakoski (908).
Adult education centres (64): Kiuruvesi (263), Mäntyharju (507), Turku (853).

Net number of students in liberal adult education

Net number of students means that the same person is counted as a student in one educational institution only once, even if they participated in more than one education in the educational institution concerned during the calendar year.
