Documentation of statistics - magnitude nil The target time for general upper secondary education and vocational education is 3.5 years, for university of applied sciences education 4.5 years and for higher university degrees 5.5 years. The population of vocational education changes in the statistical reference year 2021. Before 2021, the population includes persons who participated in curriculum-based initial vocational education leading to a qualification (not persons in apprenticeship training). Starting from the statistical reference year 2021, the population includes persons who intend to complete the entire qualification in initial vocational education, and the table also includes persons in apprenticeship training.
