The time that has passed since studies were started in the review year. For example, in the statistical reference year 2021, the starting of studies 3.5 years ago describes persons who started studies in the sector of education in question in 2018.

Lower university degree

A student is always included only once in the table. The table follows the student's highest completed degree or transfer elsewhere. Those with Bachelor's degrees are included among those with Bachelor's degrees only if they have not yet completed a Master's degree or transferred elsewhere
