Documentation of statistics Decile groups have been formed among persons according to disposable income per consumption unit.
Due to rounding the shares do not always sum up to 100.
Statistical unit: household and person (household population).
Income concept: Household's disposable cash income (excl. capital gains).
Consumption units : Eurostat's equivalence scale (1.0 - 0.5 - 0.3).

Household's stage in life

The classification of stages in life is used to distinguish between the stages of a household, which usually differ in terms of income and consumption. The classification is based on type of household, age of reference person and age of children.
