Documentation of statistics Pre-primary education and open ECEC activities are not included. Data for 2015 to 2020 are based on data collected by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. Data for 2021 to 2022 are from the Varda database of the Finnish National Agency for Education. The statistics also include the data on Åland, which are obtained from Statistics and Research Åland (ÅSUB). The percentage share of age total of the same age population was calculated for those aged one to six.
