Documentation of statistics . missing The regional data are the location area of the educational institution according to the classification of municipalities of the latest year. The figures concerning additional education (10th grade) include pupils in educational institution categories 11, 12 and 19. Starting from 2020, the data are based on the education administration's Koski database, as well as on data from Statistics and Research Ă…land and the European School of Helsinki. Missing data on place of implementation are entered as unknown in the data for 2022. The number of pupils in basic education in the statistics on support for learning is not the same as the number of pupils in the statistics on students and qualifications because starting from 2022, data on pupils in preparatory education for basic education and those receiving home schooling are not included in the statistics on support for learning. Corrected 28.8.2024: In the release in August 2023, the number of pupils in intensified support in 2022 was given as 79,177, the correct figure is 79,019. Similarly, the number of pupils in special support in 2022 was given as 55,544, the correct figure is 55,542. The number of pupils was also corrected, the correct figure is 563,135, the previously reported was 571,460.
