Documentation of statistics Numbers of students used in calculating discontinuation differ from total numbers of students, because part of students had to be removed from the data due to insufficient personal identity codes, for example. The data on upper secondary general education include upper secondary general education aimed at young people, the data on vocational education include initial vocational qualifications, university of applied sciences education includes university of applied sciences degrees and university education lower and higher university degrees. Vocational education: students in initial vocational education who complete the entire qualification.
