Constituencies:
In the time series table municipalities have been
placed into constituencies on the basis of the current
constituency division as set out in the Election Act.
As regards previous elections, it should be noted that
even if the constituency sum is correct, municipalities
are not always under the correct constituency. This
results from municipalities having changed their constituency.
The results for the Municipal elections 1976 to 1988 also include data on the municipal elections held in the preceding years in the autonomous territory of the Åland Islands. The parties:
