Tota fertility rate (4 years period)

Total fertility rate refers to the sum of the fertility rates of age groups. The figure indicates how many children a woman would give birth to, on average, if the fertility rate of the reference period remained valid throughout the woman's fertility age. In the total fertility rate for four years, the fertility rates of age groups have been calculated from a four-year period. The calculation makes use of five-year age groups.
