Income class (% of median income)

Income class as a percentage of the median income of the entire dwelling population.#Income is defined as equivalized disposable cash income of household-dwelling unit. #All members of the same household-dwelling unit are allocated this equivalized income. #If this income is below 60 % median, person is at risk of poverty. #If it is >=75 % but <200 % then, person is in the middle-income group. #If it is >= 2 x median income, person is in the high-income group.

Disposable cash income per consumption unit, median

Equivalent income, which is the disposable monetary income of a dwelling unit (or economic household) divided by consumption units (Eurostat scale). When the statistical unit is a person, equivalent income describes the level of a person's economic well-being more broadly than personal income.

Personal disposable monetary income, median (no division of household income components)

Personal income (net income after taxes), where social benefits paid on the basis of household criteria are included in the income of the person to whom the benefit was paid (i.e. no allocation of household-specific income components).

Personal factor income, median

Wages and salaries, self-employment incomes and property incomes of individuals (income before transfers and taxes).
