Documentation of statistics Data in EUR have been given in the prices of the latest statistical year.
Statistical unit: Household
Income concept: Household's disposable monetary income (excl. sales profits) and household's disposable income (excl. sales profits) after housing costs.
Consumption unit scale: Eurostat's equivalence scale (1.0 - 0.5 - 0.3).
Real estate tax is included only in housing costs, but not in household disposable income in the income shares of housing costs and expenditure. The procedure causes a difference compared to the comparative data published by Eurostat, e.g. on the number of persons burdened by housing costs (housing cost overburden rate). Net housing costs do not include the actual housing costs of basic social assistance starting from the statistical reference year 2023. They are parallelled to housing benefits in line with the statistics on social protection and financing. The classification is based on the European System of Integrated Social Protection Statistics (ESSPROS).
