Documentation of statistics The most recent year is the cumulative sum of the months preceding the time of update.
The compilation of statistics on seriously injured started in 2014 and they published annually in January, approximately 13 months after the end of the statistical year. Data are missing for the preliminary years, but the value 0 has been entered for them to make the area grouping technically possible.
The data on electrically-assisted bicycle and light electric vehicle are missing for the preliminary years, but the value 0 has been entered for them to make the area grouping technically possible.
The data 'accident involving' do not always describe the involved who has suffered personal injury but one party to the accident. The same accident recurs in each row concerning different types of involved, so the figures do not match the sum. All traffic units have not been specified into separate rows of involved in the table either.
Highways, main roads, local roads and other roads without accidents on motorways and semimotorways.
