Documentation of statistics Non-market producers (producer type T30), agriculture and housing are not included here. When examining labour productivity, the intensity of the capital asset is = the number of capital services of the capital asset per hour worked. E.g. ICT capital intensity = the number of capital services in ICT equipment per hour worked. The contribution of the change in the quality of labour input is the effect of changes in the quality of labour force (age, gender, level of education) on productivity/the change in value added. The contribution of reallocation of hours worked describes the movement of labour from one industry to another. The contribution of total productivity is derived as a residual when all other contributions related to the labour force and capital have been calculated and the change in productivity/value added is known.
