These statistics apply the regional division of 1 January 2024 to the whole time series.
Information
Demographic dependency ratio (projection 2024)
The demographic dependency ratio is calculated as the total number of persons age 0-14 and the number of persons aged 65 and older divided by the number of persons aged 15-64. The figure obtained is multiplied by one hundred.
