At risk of poverty rate: The share of persons at risk of poverty in the chosen population.
Persons at risk of poverty: Number of persons at risk of poverty in the chosen population.
Median equivalent income of the population at risk of poverty in the chosen population.
Poverty gap: Distance of median income among population at risk of poverty from the at risk of poverty threshold.
Equivalent income: Household disposable money income per consumption unit in a year.
Consumption units: Oecd modified equivalence scale (1.0 - 0.5 - 0.3).
The at risk of poverty thresholds are set each year according to the median equivalent income of all households.
The official low income threshold used in the publications is 60 % of median income and the income concept is disposable money income.Data in EUR given at year 2017 value.
