Documentation of statistics
The data are based on interview data derived from the household section of the Labour Force Survey. The household interview is conducted on the fifth interview round of the survey. The data concern the age group of those aged 20 to 59 because over 99 per cent of the parents of children aged under 18 belong to this age group.
The Labour Force Survey was renewed at the beginning of 2021. The table contains time series according to the estimation method used until the end of 2020.
