An error has been detected in the 2023 data for office buildings. The data do not include the costs of repairing municipalities and joint municipal authorities. As a result, the figures are not comparable with previous years. The estimated amount of error is 50–70 million euros and the published figures are this much lower than normal.
Documentation of statistics For each type of building, renovation costs are based on a sample survey every three years and in other years on the preceding sample survey and estimation made by data on building permits. Estimation has not been made for all data.
