A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. Due to extension of the data and changes made to the calculation method, the data are not comparable before and after 2010.


From 2010 onwards, average earnings for the private sector and for the Others sector are published together. The Others sector comprises of non-profit corporations, parishes, organisations och from 2010 onwards universities.

Average earnings are published quarterly.


Average earnings

Earnings for regular working hours, which include performance rewards. During 2000-20009 average earnings also include one-offs based on collective agreements. Both of these one-offs are added to regular earnings as annual averages.
